Where in the world is WALDO (a.k.a. Chris Grundner)? That is the question I've been getting from lots of supporters after not updating my blog in over a month. My sincere apologies for being out of touch. I wish I had a wild-and-crazy story about winning the lottery or something exciting as my excuse. The truth is that I've just been 'in the weeds' lately.
It is far too much to get into right this minute, but I promise to write about as many of my "adventures" over the last few weeks sometime soon. I will say this though, one of the highlights was my trip to Austin, TX to attend the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance Conference last week. This organization brings together the leaders/advocates in the young adult cancer community and it was really cool because I had the chance to meet many of my online friends face-to-face for the first time. There are way too many great people/organizations to list them by name here, but believe me when I say that there are lots of groups in the Alliance doing really incredible things and I am honored to be one of the Alliance's newest members and to have the opportunity to work side-by-side with such an amazing group of people!
More about this later, I promise.
Quickly though, let me use this opportunity to ask you to vote for us (if you haven't already) as part of Chase's Community Giving Program. All you have to do is visit the link below and place your vote for KHG. If you enter Kelly Heinz-Grunder into the search box (without the second N because our name is spelled incorrectly in their system for some reason), we'll come up.

It doesn't cost you anything except your time! We need all the help we can get to make the top 100. Thanks in advance for your support and please tell all your friends! Brain tumor awareness can become as widespread as breast cancer awareness, if we all do our part. We owe this to all our loved ones whose lives have been affected by this terrible disease.
PS: I am heading to Michigan tomorrow to go to the BIG HOUSE to watch the Michigan/Ohio State game. In case you are wondering, I am a huge Michigan fan, but, no, I don't hold out a lot of hope for a win!
